2025-26 Girls on Fire Registration Now Open

For students 14-22 years. Students learn about the workings and functions of government, including how policy decisions are made and legislation is passed. They also learn how to influence policies and practices that impact them. As part of their learning, they work on campaigns and may participate in field visits to the offices of county, state, and federal legislators, as well as attend legislative sessions. Youth receive a monetary stipend for participation.

Self-Esteem, Mental and Emotional Health Support Group

Growing up can be challenging for young girls; peer pressure, self-esteem and confidence, anxiety and emotional problems that affects their mental health well-being. We provide a safe place for girls to participate in topic driven workshops, discussions and gain concrete tool to build strong self-esteem, confidence to support emotional and mental well-being. Meets twice a month. Meeting held at 8775 Cloudleaf Courts, Columbia, Maryland 21045
